Visit an MSF nutritional centre in Bo, Sierra Leone
In the Bo and Pujehun districts, in the south of Sierra Leone, Médecins Sans Frontières is supporting the Gondama Reference Centre and five health centres in the region. The project’s objective is to reduce the mortality rate of children under five, by first fighting against the deadly effects of malaria and malnutrition. In May 2006, our cameraman went to the MSF therapeutic nutritional centre, set up inside the Gondama Hospital. The centre takes care of children suffering from severe malnutrition.
