MSF's Sydney office working remotely

20 Mar 2020

MSF Australia will close its Sydney office from COB Friday 20 March, and our staff will be working remotely until further notice.

As a responsible employer and a medical organisation, we have taken this decision in light of our duty of care to our staff. By undertaking social distancing, we are also supporting Australian government advice to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

We will continue to assess the situation and revisit this decision as more information comes to hand.

During this period, supporters may experience some delay in processing donations sent through the mail. We apologise for this delay, but please be assured that your donations are secure. You may find it easier to give your gift online during this time and can do so here.

We may also have difficulties in answering your calls, and we kindly invite you to email us as the first point of contact for inquiries.

We want to thank you again for your generous support - it means a lot to us. We are providing much needed medical care to millions of people around the world in countries where health systems are not as robust as in Australia. These communities need our support more than ever. We are doctors without borders, but not without you.

Can you make a donation to support our COVID-19 response?

Right now, Médecins Sans Frontières is providing much needed support and medical care in over 30 countries to counter the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our teams are also gearing up to confront potential outbreaks in the hundreds of areas we were already working before the pandemic struck. We are deploying medical staff, sending supplies and applying nearly 50 years of experience fighting epidemics to protect the most vulnerable and save lives.

Can you help increase our capacity to respond by making a donation to our COVID-19 Crisis Appeal?
