Marawi, in the Southern Lanao del Sur province of the Philippines, came under attack in late May. The city has been heavily destroyed.

Médecins Sans Frontières plans to continue providing urgent medical care and safe drinking water to those affected, and aims to expand to other areas and support an additional 8,000 displaced persons.
