Mohamed Bashir
Dr Mohamed Bashir has worked in several MSF projects in Sudan, including supervising medical activities at the MSF-supported Umdawanban and Alban Aljadeed hospitals in Khartoum state. He also played a key role on the medical team at Um Rakuba refugee camp in Al Gedaref State, where MSF delivered 40,000 outpatient consultations in 2023. Additionally, his responsibilities included managing health emergencies, such as MSF’s response to a cholera outbreak in 2023.
As of November 2024, Dr Bashir is working with MSF in Warrap state, South Sudan, where our teams are providing comprehensive care in Twic county and Abyei town at several facilities, as well as supporting integrated community case management sites in displaced camps.
