As part of an emergency response to the devastating storm in Mozambique, MSF is providing psychological support to survivors to cope with their distress and to overwhelmed health professionals.

While the ceasefire in Gaza has finally been announced, in the past months people across the Strip have continued to suffer from Israeli forces' relentless bombardments. In our clinic in Gaza City, patients who managed to escape the horror recount their experience during the siege. 

Midwife Solange Famanou Ahidjo has worked in MSF maternity unit at Aboutengué camp in eastern Chad for a year. Surrounded by a team of midwives and assistants, Solange provides critical care to women throughout their pregnancy, delivery, and post-partum period. She shares her account of working as a midwife with MSF.

The temporary ceasefire agreement in Gaza is a relief, but it arrives more than 465 days and 46,000 lives too late. Humanitarian needs have mounted to catastrophic levels.

Nasser hospital, Al Aqsa hospital and European Gaza hospital are on the verge of closure due to a lack of fuel. This situation is threatening the lives of hundreds of patients, including newborns, who depend on electricity to stay alive.

Roland Couprie, worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Chad as a water, sanitation, and hygiene team leader. During his assignment, Roland implemented water supply solutions in refugee camps to help those fleeing the ongoing violence in Sudan. 

Dr Ahmed Seedat has been working in Nyala, the second-largest city in Sudan, as Medical Activity Manager. He shares what he experienced on assignment - the resilience of patients caught in conflict and the immense dedication of his colleagues.
