Business Analyst – Analytics (12 month Contract)
Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, this key 12 month full time contract role will support all internal departments in the implementation for Data and Analytics projects as well as day-to-day system support for existing reporting and analytics applications.
You will act as the point of contact for optimising data processes, managing analytics change requests and training needs. While leading the implementation of all initiatives within the MSF Australia Data Strategy you will focus on data driven decision making and treatment of data as a strategic asset for the organisation. Accountabilities will include:
- Implement the Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Automation Systems, performing project coordination, requirements gathering, process mapping/improvement, documentation, report definition and testing tasks.
- Identify, analyse and validate business benefits associated with initiatives.
- Develop conceptual designs and functional specifications that document the desired solution behaviour.
- Understand priorities and strategies of departmental stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to leverage information technology.
- Undertake feasibility assessment of IT initiatives and develop project briefs/charters.
- Manage support and change requests from definition to delivery.
- Training and support of departmental users.
Requirements
To be successful in this pivotal role you will be known for your leadership capabilities and ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels. You will enjoy project management and will be motivated by working in a global humanitarian organisation. Ideally you can demonstrate:
- Minimum 5+ years in a similar role supporting sales organisations, preferably within the fundraising / not-for-profit environment;
- Full lifecycle implementation of a major enterprise CRM package solution as a business analyst or process lead
- Experience working with payments systems;
- Demonstrated competence in CRM and Sales Analytics as a business/function analyst or a solution executive;
- Project leadership experience;
- A proven track record in process design and business analysis;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
- Strong computer literacy and advanced MS Office suite; and
- A keen interest in being a part of a NFP organisation.
