Reporting to the managing editor this newly developed role and truly dynamic opportunity has been designed to create compelling content including filmed and animated videos, infographics and photography to support MSF Australia’s strategic objectives of engaging audiences in Australia and New Zealand.

Joining a collaborative communications team you will also deliver high-quality graphic design that both inspires and informs. The content you produce will bring to life MSF’s medical humanitarian work and support fundraising, recruitment of medical staff for global assignments and advocating for change.


To be successful in this pivotal role you will have a passion for telling a story through multimedia channels and be motivated by reflecting MSF's commitment to patient-centred care.  Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualifications in either videography / photography / graphic design / digital communications or equivalent industry experience;
  • Proven skill with filming, editing and graphic design software;
  • Knowledge of social media trends;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications;
  • Demonstrated end-to-end project experience from ideation, brief & production to go-live with measurements & results analysis;
  • Availability to travel as required; and
  • A keen interest in being part of a humanitarian organisation.
