When emergencies strike, we don't take sides - we take action. Our medical ethics and principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality mean we deliver care based on need alone.  

As we already work in more than 70 countries around the world, we are often already working in the places we are needed most when an unexpected crisis breaks out.

We set up and support clinics and hospitals in warzones, help women give birth safely in refugee camps, and manage deadly outbreaks after natural disasters. And our teams stick around for as long as we're needed, continuing to provide more than 16 million outpatient consultations every year to ensure those affected by disasters continue receiving the long-term support and care they need.

To bring healthcare to people in some of the world’s most challenging environments - we need your help. You ensure MSF remains independent and can respond wherever medical needs are greatest.

At a time when global crises are intensifying, and humanitarian funding is being cut, the need for fast, independent medical care has never been greater. Please donate to our emergency fund today so we can:

  • Respond rapidly when emergencies strike: as we are 100 per cent funded by donors, not governments, we can allocate funds based on need and rapidly adapt to changing situations
  • Pre-position essential medical supplies and kits: MSF maintains stockpiles of ready-to-deploy medical, water, sanitation, and shelter equipment so our response can begin immediately when a crisis hits
  • Mobilise experienced teams without delay: as well as medical staff, MSF has dedicated logistics teams, supply chains, mobile clinics, and emergency response systems ensuring life-saving services can be delivered quickly
  • Continue treating patients long after the headlines fade: our long-term presence in many communities means we are part of trusted relationships which can improve our access during emergencies and ensure a faster response.
