Responding to global health emergencies is in our blood.
Ever since COVID-19 began spreading across the world – leaving very few countries untouched by its devastating impact – Médecins Sans Frontières has been there to deliver emergency medical care to people in crisis.
Right now, we are deploying medical teams to the frontlines, supporting healthcare workers, sending urgent medical supplies, and extending upon our decades of experience working in emergency situations to provide medical care to those who need it most.
The arrival of COVID-19 does not mean that the refugee crises, conflicts and other epidemics that Médecins Sans Frontières is responding to are now any less urgent. The virus only creates more danger and instability for already vulnerable people, which is why we are continuing to provide essential healthcare services where safe and possible.
