Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders (MSF) provides medical humanitarian support to people caught in conflict, disasters, epidemics or facing exclusion from healthcare. People affected by crises are disproportionately impacted by mental health disorders as they often endure severe emotional distress due to experiences such as forced displacement, loss, witnessing violence, and neglect and stigmatisation. We therefore need highly skilled specialists to deliver effective care and promote the importance of mental health.
Join this webinar to find out more about the role of mental healthcare in our humanitarian projects. This will include the type of work psychologists and psychiatrists in MSF projects are involved in, as well as the skills and experience we look for in mental health professionals.
