In 2023, 260,000 women died from complications due to pregnancy or childbirth.

Almost all maternal deaths that we see in our projects would be preventable. Most of those deaths, if we have the funds, we can prevent.

A woman or girl dies due to complications of pregnancy or childbirth around the world every two minutes. More than 90% of those deaths occur in low and middle-income countries. You can help reduce this.

There are three delays that often stand between a mother receiving the obstetric care she needs. A delay in seeking care, a delay in reaching care and a delay in receiving care.
