Transforming generosity into global impact
At MSF Australia, philanthropy is more than financial support, it's a partnership that delivers lifesaving care. By joining us, you will be part of a global organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, and natural or man-made disasters.
Your impact in action
Philanthropic contributions are pivotal in sustaining MSF operations across more than 70 countries.
MSF Australia is 100% funded by individuals and philanthropic organisations, not governments. This is vital for the delivery of our medical humanitarian aid, but also to maintain our neutrality and independence. Your support enables MSF teams to focus on the urgent needs of highly vulnerable patients and communities across the globe.
In 2025, supporters helped us to:
- Send 95 Australians and New Zealanders on 132 separate assigments to MSF projects in more than 27 countries.
- Provide 17 million outpatient consultations, 548,400 mental health consultations, assisted in the delivery of 405,000 babies and a diverse range of other medical services.
- Fund emergency operations worldwide, including in Gaza, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Haiti, Central African Republic, Kiribati, Sudan, PNG, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, and many more countries and regions.
- Speak out about humanitarian crises and what can - and must - be done to address them.
These figures represent more than statistics - they are lives touched, communities supported, and resilience strengthened. For a comprehensive overview, please see our Annual Impact Report 2025.
