Duties include drawing up documents to ensure full and definitive compliance of the installations (diagrams and lists of supplies) in a project, supervising and coordinating any works that are carried out and installing equipment.
ACTIVITIES
- Management of the electrical equipment required by the project: procurement, installation, maintenance and supervision of electrical equipment.
- Organisation of the project‘s electrical infrastructure: construction and refurbishment works.
- Ensuring safety compliance of electrical supply for project facilities and structures such as medical clinics.
- Supervising and training logistics teams and locally employed and/or international personnel.
- Working with medical teams and project coordinators to define operational strategies and logistical objectives of a project.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Compliance with essential criteria for all potential candidates.
- Qualification and license as electrician or degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience in planning and leading energy related projects (including Financial and HR aspects is a strong asset)
- Relevant experience in one or more of the following domains:
• electrical design/implementation works for domestic/office/industrial set-ups
• building electrical constructions
• mechanics (generators, pumps, diesel motors)
• renewable energy
• industrial programming (PLC) - Professional experience in supervising and training staff/teams
- Available for assignment for a minimum of six months or longer
DESIRABLE
- Microsoft Visio and/or AutoCAD skills (highly desirable)
- Ability to implement processes that ensure availability and quality of locally purchased electrical supplies
- Experience with the installation and maintenance of medical equipment
- Experience with solar panels installations and maintenance
