In the world’s largest refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is partnering with a Rohingya community to bear witness to the challenges, experiences and survival of Rohingya people.

For the past six years, Medecins Sans Frontieres has been alerting the world that the Rohingya people living in refugee camps in Bangladesh are at extreme risk of a critical outbreak of disease and that their living conditions are unacceptable and inhumane. 

A huge scabies outbreak is affecting Rohingya refugees as the 6-year anniversary of their expulsion from Myanmar approaches.

Tongogara Refugee Camp (TRC) is a remote place in the south-east of Zimbabwe where over 15,000 people live; mostly from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mozambique, Burundi and Rwanda. While in their country of origin, most of the refugees experienced traumatic events including war, rape, torture and physical injuries, among other traumatic events that caused them to flee.
