In June 2021, three Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) staff were brutally murdered in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. Following a New York Times investigation into the killings of our colleagues, MSF is urging the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) to respond. 

Following is a statement from the president of MSF Spain, Paula Gil.

Carla Melki, emergency coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF), has just returned from the port city of Odessa in southern Ukraine. There she was part of an MSF team that has been assessing the situation in order to help plan our activities in response to the war in the country.

From Moldova, a neighbouring country to which refugees are escaping, she explains the fears the Russian offensive is causing and the priorities for MSF’s intervention.
